Téa spent the first twenty years of her life wading through slush with a nose that rivalled Rudolph’s, dreaming of Christmas on the beach. Those dreams didn’t come true until she finally arrived in Australia on 23rd December, at the ripe old age of 24, with 40 cents in her pocket and a handful of addresses. Luckily she struck gold and on December 25th she found herself on Chinaman’s Beach with an esky full of prawns, mangoes and champagne and a group of people she’s still lucky enough to count as friends … it was her idea of heaven and suffice to say, she’s never lived in England again.
